Reverend Horton Heat Poster By Grease

Check it out yall, Grease just finished this fresh 3 color joint for The Reverend Horton Heat and Nashville Pussy for the show here in Jax at Freebird Live. Not sure whether or not we’ll actually get to sell them at the show or not but thats not gonna stop us from rollin them out. Sometimes that just how it goes in the Fabulous Fame filled industry of gigposter design. We have included the concept sketches of the poster as well in this post. It’s always cool to see where it started and where it ended up. Sketch One | Sketch Two

Check it out on gigposters and leave us some feedback dammit!

The Process & Pics – 3 color Against Me poster!

If any of you are curious at all as to what the process of actually screen printing a poster looks like, here are some step by step pics of the Against Me poster we just did with Dog and Pony. Its not exact procedure but you will get the idea of what goes into it all. Bet you didnt know it was straight SCIENCE huh? Emulsions, burning, inks, reclaiming, and all that jazz. But its all worth it in the end to see silver and white ink on black paper. So fresh! Thanks for posting the pics Mr. Tucker.

Against Me Show Poster Collaboration

Thursday of last week, Sean Tucker from Dog and Pony invited us to collaborate on an show poster for Against Me! on Monday/last night at Cafe Eleven in St. Augustine. It was a super short timeline but we pulled it off and the show last night was off the hook. Big ups to Cafe Eleven for keeping the place cool, I didnt even sweat, and for an awesome beer selection and great sound. Also Big ups to Against Me and their tour Manager for being super cool about letting us sell the posters there and for even signing a few. We will have whats left of these posters for sale on both Dog and Pony site as well as Halftone Def Studios as soon as we can. Thanks Yo! – TRON

Whole new batch of pics are posted over on the Halftone Def Studios flick photo sets. They are photos of pretty much the whole process from start to finish with the exception of the films and the sketches. You can see the ink mixing, screens, us printing them color by color, detail shots, The Rad 2 color stamps, us packing them up in tubes, and Grease in the bushes with crazy hands.

Thats right, come to the show and get the poster cheaper.
